His work often depicts his frustrations with oppression in his community as well as creating work in solidarity with the community in the defense of dignity and rights. The artist brings political concerns to light with subject matter that depicts cultural icons, rebels and everyday people voicing their stance against oppression. He also recognizes the unique connection between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Chicano community. Chavez Ravine, where Dodger stadium is located, is home to the 2024 World Series champs and the reason for this image.
